Message from the Secretary
According to the official duties, providing services that directly impact the people is a professional task.
It is not only a great pleasure but also requires courage and determination to be engaged in such work with a
sense of duty. Along with this ethical responsibility, I would like to express my immense happiness in
being able to participate in the efforts to serve the taxpaying public of the Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha.
As the first step in building a good citizen for the country, providing maternal care facilities and child development is extremely important. The responsibility entrusted to the public health sector, which is under the authority of our Pradeshiya Sabha, is one of the most crucial duties. Since then, it is our responsibility to ensure the well-being, comfort, and prosperity of the people, as well as to maintain all public utility services, including roads, electricity, and other facilities, with proper management.
I am committed to contributing to this noble task to provide successful services.

I am wholeheartedly committed to contributing to this noble task to provide successful services.
Under the leadership and guidance of the Honorable President, the Clean Sri Lanka project, which is planned for implementation, is a massive initiative. It aims to bring about a positive transformation in the social behavior of the people as well as the ethical conduct of public servants. Through this, a national movement will be launched, covering the entire societal body to enhance environmental, economic, and social sustainability, and to strengthen the governance system. I am fully dedicated to ensuring the success of this monumental task, ensuring that the highest benefits reach the people living in our Pradeshiya Sabha area.
Incorporating these various tasks, I consider it my primary responsibility to guide the Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha towards greater development. I am committed to this, and I trust that, with the cooperation of the staff and the people, we will achieve this goal.
